it gets especially dark when you consider the fact that the political embarrassment that character at the bottom of the meme is what helped triggered the last attempt to socialize health care in the united states roughly a decade ago and we're still stuck in the same quagmire.

I figure you could always go out into the wilderness to die somewhere you won’t be snatched by an ambulance crew, though then you might get an air ambulance and then your family is extra fucked. Good chance of being shot for trespassing then though, which would solve so many problems.
