One of the kids has been regularly using the toilet, even at care, so that's a great breakthrough.
Took the kids to a ren faire down here over the weekend. It's interesting that my girlfriend and a bunch of other people here in Australia were getting ren faire content even through it's not really a thing down here, then some people finally organised one. Maybe they match the profile of people that are interested in ren faires up in north America where it's more of a thing. My girlfriend made us all outfits so we were a family of gnomes for about 15 minutes until the kids wanted to take everything off.
Lines got crazy at lunchtime so I took the kids into the main bit of the nearby town for lunch. The ren faire was more for my girlfriend anyway so it gave her a chance to properly check things out. It's also near a blueberry farm we've been to so I took them there, but they were only selling frozen blueberries due to the time of year.
And the woman running in the council election we did flyering for shared a video in the group chat of her similarly aged son putting some flyers in mailboxes, so I think I've started a trend of 'praxis as parenting' that I hope catches on.

as i try to show and explain why things happen
"Listen kid, everything the books tells you is a LIE. The moon isn't beholden to the darkness! Invisible forces beyond our control move US and THE MOON in a clock-like fashion through space and time! Deep physiological interplay at the quantum level creates everything we know and see! Those books won't tell you that, and you have to wonder why!"
