Nope not yet, we can still fight it. We can help others figtht it like the Linux and other people in libre/free and opensource communities are. And the best way to fight it is to boycott using any platform or product that requires it and use good alternatives that resist it.

I am sure there's exceptions, but refusal should be the norm. At least on YouTube and other non-essential services.
They want it to be but what you’re seeing is just a tame version that’s been around for a while on porn sites and mature rated games. What scares people what bothers me is required identification. Having to share real personal data to “confirm” who you are.
We should all be fighting this ..
Age verification as in check a box that days you're over 18? Or like upload a photo or ID?
