Mildly Interesting

This is for strictly mildly interesting material. If it's too interesting, it doesn't belong. If it's not interesting, it doesn't belong.

This is obviously an objective criteria, so the mods are always right. Or maybe mildly right? Ahh.. what do we know?

Just post some stuff and don't spam.

Looks like the wings are removed.

My wife and I went to this restaurant that was near a small airport and the wildest part was that all the houses along side the airport had airplane garages.

It’s the Dodo from GTA III.

They must've bought it here on a trailer as it's quite narrow street and no airport anywhere near.

You can fit most things in a garage. As this guy is proving... The sky is the limit

[–] bluesheep@sh.itjust.works 5 points 3 days ago

I have this feeling that for this plane the sky might actually be a limit to far

'ts not a garage. it's a car port. a garage would have a door.

and it's not a car port either, I guess, technically now it's an airport lol.

There's a kit airplane company called Van's. My dad has been building a 2-seater single-prop in his garage for about 15 years now

Hah, just yesterday I was looking up construction projects that took so long that they were obsolete upon completion. I am reminded of that.

Never mind Elf on the Shelf, this year it's all about Fuselage in the Garage

You missed the golden one: "Empennage in a Garage".

At what point does it become a hangar?

[–] kamenlady@lemmy.world 14 points 3 days ago

When that plane grows its wings, it's still young.

Reminds me of the classic driveway Beagle bug in GTASA

[–] iconic_admin@lemmy.world 4 points 3 days ago (1 children)

HOA isn’t going to like that.

[–] PlasticExistence@lemmy.world 2 points 3 days ago

HOAs don’t like anything
