"My fellow brave Americans! We MUST do everything we can to stop authoritarian AI so that ours can rise above and become the ultimate authoritarian AI once all competition is eliminated!"

They signed with the DoD and are now worried about authorization assholes???

Fuck off. Hope you lose everything and go under.

Did they kiss and make up with the DoD?

Anybody doing business with this current lot of cunts can't be trusted.

They are still doing work for the nsa or fbi.

Please regulate our competition + look, it's so dangerous marketing BS as IPO nears.

Fuck 'em, and yes they're the product of an authoritarian, repressive regime.

The "it's so dangerous" marketing has been going for years. Anyone remember the Facebook things that "invented their own language to communicate without the engineers understanding" or whatever? or the million times "Google engineer says it's achieved sentience and needs to be stopped" or whatever?

[–] Womble@piefed.world 1 points 3 hours ago

In fairness, it seemed like that google engineer genuinely thought the chatbot flattering of him meant it was sentient. Google bundled him out the door for going public with it so I doubt that one was PR.

If ai doesn’t kill all the poors at their command it’s gonna be real funny when we use it against (peaceably of course) the rich who tried to employ it as a weapon against us all.

[–] BigMacHole@thelemmy.club 6 points 7 hours ago (1 children)

That's TERRORISM!

(Using Weapons AGAINST Rich people NOT them using it Against US!)

[–] psycho_driver@lemmy.world 2 points 1 hour ago

The words terrorist/terrorism are so played out at this point. The citizens are asking to have the minimum wage raised? TERRORISM! My constituents are angry at me for being too chicken shit to host a town hall? TERRORISTS!

Oh sure, now they're worried, but 4 years ago when everyone was sounding the alarms it was alllllll quiet

4 years ago there was no Qwen that matches their shit for way cheaper.
