So... Not made in the USA. US flag only has 11 bars rather than 13. And it's HTC, which is Taiwanese (or Chinese if you want to be pedantic to China; the territory is disputed).
So strange, because a lot of — I'm sure most — American/American flag products made in China (or Taiwan) have the correct number of bars on the flag. I'm sure someone tried to correct them and was just told to print the flag (incorrectly) as ordered.
I'm pretty certain that the text in the logo is supposed to be the 13th line, it's just terribly executed.

No. It's "designed with American values in mind"
My point was this - at 2:31 in the video it says "Proudly assembled in the USA"
How cheap is this thing? I'm fully expecting the rubes to pay $600 for a $150, five year old phone.
So it does exist but is a lie in other aesthetic and geopolitical ways.
