And common people still cant get a break financially, while these guys make billion dollar mistakes and come out just fine.
I can't believe the guy that wasted 80B$ in the metaverse did that mistake... Such a surprising turn of events.
But hey, they've only dumped $230 billion into AI so far. Surely things will start turning for them now?

The Metaverse was a true supervillain plan that makes one wonder about his sanity.
He and the Google guys are some of the richest data brokers in the world, but he’s the only one who openly hates the people who made him his fortune and let’s them know by asking them to train their AI replacement. Real misanthropic and mean spirited management strategy.

Fuck Spez BTW.
I didn't put a dime into my headset after Meta took it over so I didn't pay much attention but I don't know of many innovations from that 80B. I'm sure there's people who really work in it which can name some tools or libraries or games they thought were great but I don't think anything broke into the mainstream? The main VR games that I know of are HL: Alyx, Beat Saber, and Superhot. I can't believe with 80B there hasn't been another die hard game or application that hasn't broke into the mainstream.
I can’t think of anything more toxic than hiring a bunch of big personalities for $50 million to $15 billion each and putting them together and telling them to sort it out.
Doesn't say what the mistakes were, unless it's obvious it's the layoffs. Could mean laying off the wrong people but not the quantity.
If the cage is still on the white house lawn when Trump finally dies we would make these crazy assholes fight to the death in it. All of them.
It's very depressing how many people I know are 100% reliant on meta apps for communication. Utterly depressing.

Yahtzee!
"Given the complexity of these changes, we've made mistakes and will almost certainly make more,"
In case anyone thought he admitted wrong doing.
Imagine making a mistake at work costing thousands even, and then saying you will certainly make more.
Big mistake after big mistake, yet the company remains profitable in its perpetual surveillance. Eat a shitberg, zuckerberg.
