This may be an unpopular opinion, but I think having a DRM-encumbered application running in the background that relies on another large application to launch just so you can have a fancy wallpaper is kind of dumb.

MODERATORS
Wallpaper Engine only requires Steam running during setup and grabbing stuff from workshop. After that, it works independently.

People only learn when they are affected by the consequences of exposing themselves.
