Re-route power to the shields, emit a tachyon pulse through the deflector, and post all the nonsense you want. Within reason of course.
~ 1. No bigotry. This is a Star Trek community. Remember that diversity and coexistence are Star Trek values. Any post/comments that are racist, anti-LGBT, or generally "othering" of a group will result in removal/ban.
~ 2. Keep it civil. Disagreements will happen both on lore and preferences. That's okay! Just don't let it make you forget that the person you are talking to is also a person.
~ 3. Use spoiler tags.
Use spoiler tags in comments, and NSFW checkbox for posts.
This applies to any episodes that have dropped within 3 months prior of your posting. After that it's free game.
~ 4. Keep it Trek related. This one is kind of a gimme but keep as on topic as possible.
~ 5. Keep posts to a limit. We all love Star Trek stuff but 3-4 posts in an hour is plenty enough.
~ 6. Try to not repost. Mistakes happen, we get it! But try to not repost anything from within the past 1-2 months.
~ 7. No General AI Art. Posts of simple AI art do not 'inspire jamaharon'
~ 8. No Political Upheaval. Political commentary is allowed, but please keep discussions civil. Read here for our community's expectations.

Just had my 25th anniversary and we watched the original Stargate series again last year. Now it's time for Babylon 5.
We hit the engage button shortly after watching Babylon 5 on network TV in the later 90s. (Correlation is not necessarily causation, we spent a bit more time in bed doing other things back then)
So, at least I have that going for me, and that is nice
I really need to watch Stargate. I've never gotten around to it, and seeing the fans and cast campaigning to #savestargate lately has been inspiring.

This sounds great. Doesn't ever seem to work in my dating bios. I'm really not cut out to meet people. I'm delightful in person, usually, anyone wanna set me up on a blind date or 10?
PS Match™ group dating sites are all trash in my terrible experience ;(

OMG, someone else who knows what Space Patrol is!
"Spaaaaace Patttrollllll!"
Heck yes, we are friends now!
I was really hoping someone else knew!!!!
Heeecckk yeah!
I have a close friend who is very into older / lost media, like DuMont network stuff, who introduced me to it. I've only seen a handful of episodes but it's pretty amazing especially for the day and age.
Your friend seems cool.
Lost media is great.
It wasn't easy, but I managed to get every available episode, in decent quality.
People like to talk about how great it is that someone had most of the old doctor who episodes on tape, but at least those exist.
Space Patrol is even harder to find, and only half exist.
They are very cool!
Oh wow, I have to ask them if they have all of them or not, if they don't I may be asking you for a favor!
It sucks that so much of the media from that era is completely gone, like a ton of it was just dumped in the Hudson river.
I have 83 episodes, which is nowhere near the complete series.
Captain, Jean (luc) Picarrrd, USS, Enterprise! 🎵🎶
I wish that song was on Spotify. Heheh. Saved a hard copy of the audio ages ago. Love it so much.

He just kept talking in one long incredibly unbroken sentence moving from topic to topic — quite hypnotic
I've been made out.
brb gone quickly replicate some Raktajinos for my guests.
I did that. Not in bed, mind you, in couch. It was a good run, but it's over now. We're still together, mind you, but we have small kids, and we still want to watch sci-fi together, so now we don't watch sci-fi.
At some point, the kids will be old enough for Star Trek, and then it becomes a family event!
My son found the Next Gen that I had on a USB stick in the TV, and is now working his way through.
We do watch one TOS episode a week as my homework for The Greatest Trek.
Anyway, it's awesome having offspring who are into Star Trek too.
Having a TV in the bedroom is no bueno.
How else will you watch Deep Sleep 9 in bed?
You could always drag the mattress out into the living room and have a Star Trek campout instead.
we do that!
