This is what happens when you use Waterfall planning methodology

Did .ml users all do tons of nitrous as kids or what's wrong with you?

[–] chonglibloodsport@lemmy.world 24 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

No there actually are some normal people on ml. I believe they joined by accident (the lemmy website tries to nudge people to join ml).

[–] neukenindekeuken@sh.itjust.works 12 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

I made the mistake of joining thinking they were "my" kind of socialists.

They were not. They're like if MAGA were genuinely pretending to be more left wing than communism.

[–] TankovayaDiviziya@lemmy.world 5 points 2 weeks ago (2 children)

I'm thinking some .ml users are actually communist Russians but has Nazi-like ultranationalist streak. I don't remember the name of the group but there is a fringe Russian communist party although unabashedly xenophobic. That said, that kinda explains .ml's imperialist and genocidal apologia when it's Russia doing it.

Although on the one hand, they may not be Russian nationals but non-Russian vatniks who are compromised in one way or another. Even in the leftist circle there are prominent individuals like Sarah Wagenknecht who is socialist but cosies up to Russia. US Green Party leader Jill Stein kept dodging the question on whether she supports Putin or not. And she also only makes a national noise during US presidential elections to siphon off votes from Democrats, which helps Russia to divide Americans and allow pro-Russian elements to win.

US Green Party leader Jill Stein kept dodging the question on whether she supports Putin or not.

she explicitly called the invasion illegal.

[–] TankovayaDiviziya@lemmy.world 1 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

I guess she has but she was hesitant to call Putin a war criminal when Mehdi Hasan asked her. It was only dats later she changed her tune.

Very fishy.

[–] commie@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

it was immediately after the invasion she said it was illegal.

[–] TankovayaDiviziya@lemmy.world 1 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Do you have a source? I've tried to look it up. But the fact is that she was hesitant to call Putin war criminal when asked but three days later she changed her mind.

[–] commie@lemmy.dbzer0.com 3 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

she also only makes a national noise during US presidential elections to siphon off votes from Democrats

democrats aren't owed anyones vote, and there is no reason to believe someone who might vote for jill stein would vote for a democrat.

[–] TankovayaDiviziya@lemmy.world 1 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

True but if Jill Stein is serious, she should organise grassroots and make her party more appealing. Or, she should have tried to take over the Democrats from within, like Mamdani and Sanders are doing. Instead, she just shows up during presidential elections to siphon votes.

[–] commie@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 2 weeks ago

you should join the Greens and change the party from within

[–] BastingChemina@slrpnk.net 6 points 2 weeks ago

Even without checking the username I could see it was a .ml user.

Wait, are you cheering on Putin then?

Isn’t Ukraine being invaded? Are they supposed to roll over and let Russia win?

I don’t understand the politics of the region well enough to understand your comment, and honestly some context would be greatly appreciated.

Ha, yeah. The one the majority of the world uses. Though I suppose it's not great even when measured in freedom units either.

So you're probably sad at the one point four million russian casualties (so far) generated by the Special Military Operation.

In normal countries, what would make a Military Operation Special, is not sustaining one point four million casualties while failing to meet objectives.

[–] arcterus@piefed.blahaj.zone 14 points 2 weeks ago

Are you having a stroke or something?

[–] melsaskca@lemmy.ca 11 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

You are no longer welcome in the Train Appreciation Society, but we will still take your dues.

[–] trainsrkool@lemmy.ml 2 points 2 weeks ago
