Lol I'm not cuz I'm not a zionist. Not a single person has given me shit about being Jewish and I've told dozens over the last year. These people are all fucking genocidal cowards. Sorry people hate genocide y'all

I especially like the people who accuse left-wing lemmy instances of being antisemitic, and get mad when I point out that I've faced no discrimination here.

If the “discrimination” you face is over backlash against the settler colonial apartheid state, of which you are considered part of the ingroup, but isn’t directed at you because of your identity, that’s a you-problem.

There absolutely has been a rise in genuine antisemitism, speaking as a Jewish person; unfortunately the Zionists conflating anti-Zionism and antisemitism have made it impossible for me to tell if an “antisemitic incident” means there was a pro-Palestine demonstration or if my life would genuinely be in danger if I left the house.

And what precisely do they mean by antisemitism, you may ask? Helpfully, this question is answered in the article.

After reading the definition, 71 percent of respondents said [the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance’s working definition of antisemitism] accurately described antisemitism, and more than two-thirds said it should be adopted by institutions. Only four percent opposed its adoption.

Yes, that is a definition which conflates criticism of Israel with antisemitism.
