Even if this were a photo of American suffrage, women gained voting rights in 1928. "Celebrate America's 250th" indeed. 250 years, 152 of which women were denied a fundamental right.

MAGA want to celebrate our advancements but also pretend that we were actually always perfect at the same time. How does that work? America was great when women couldn't vote? And it was also great after they got the vote? And America was great while it had legal slavery and also after it was abolished? And America was great under Jim Crow laws and also great after the Civil Rights movement? Did it only get not great after... what... 1989 with the end of the cold war? 1994 with "don't ask, don't tell"? When?
