Why Pebble?

Always-on e-paper screen (it’s reflective rather than emissive. Sunlight readable. Glanceable. Not distracting to others like a bright wrist)

Long battery life (one less thing to charge. It’s annoying to need extra cables when traveling)

Oof. I cant afford to casually visit this community.
I mean, consider this. The Pebble Time lasted 10 years… well more realistically 6, but I did use it for 10 years.
Compared with and Apple Watch which will be dead in like 2-3 years. The extra is worth it.
I agree that it is great. That is precisely why I can't afford to visit. If it were mediocre, I would not have to avoid it. Unfortunately no amount of greatness in a watch will put more money in my weekly budget.
Especially after you pick out all the ones you want, of course.
how many presses/touches to get a 5min timer going?
It depends, for me it's 1 press and hold to open the timer, then 2 presses to navigate to the timer, than 1 more press to start it. So 4 total.
Making a new 5 min timer is 10 button pushes.

This is the app which I use for the timer. You can have several timers saved at once which you can go back to.

I would recommend waiting for a sale, but I got a black version ages ago for my original time, and it held up Amazingly and doesn’t pinch my arm hair. So it was worth the premium to get another.
I also got this colour and I love it
I really wanted the duo but missed out. Might get this at some point. Your band looks really nice.
I would recommend a time 2. I feel color screen is worth the extra.
