I love the myth about CO2 being better for plants.

Like, its not like you grow better just because we pump you full of pure oxygen.

Plus, have you ever tried to keep a garden alive during a heat wave? There's a certain irony in thyme not surviving because of our actions in just a short period of time.

I think the CO2 thing is actually the case to a certain extent, but these are usually lab results where all other variables are controlled. So obviously in real life an imbalance in climate is a net negative.

It's similar to the claim having more humidity in the atmosphere (because of the heat) is great because you'll get more rain, but in reality you end up getting record flooding events, land slides and avalanches.

Exactly.

Sadly, this simple explanation is not communicated. The resulting poor understanding leading to bad outcomes is spreading. I am not optimistic.
