Yes, because the bigger plan is to make sure they don't need to vote again. By "they", I don't just mean the public - the GOP Congress knows their days are numbered, because the overarching Federalist and Heritage Foundation plans are to rule by decree and turn the president into a monarch in all but name.
Looking at the conservative communities and they're all "We knew China was involved! We read the report!" And gonna call BS on that

I mean maybe these documents are now declassified but the story never changed.
The same thing was found in the bipartisan investigation done for the 2016 election Trump won, and his own admin was part of the investigation. (The Mueller Report went into some of it).
It's what led to him being impeached and the Senate not giving a fuck because it would hurt the party to find a person they knew was guilty, guilty because he was the "face" of the Republicans at that point.

As someone who actually watched that impeachment trial ... So much ... So so sooooo much overwhelming evidence of his guilt and his campaign colluding with Russia.
It really is insane how you can just make a quip like "collusion delusion" and people write off a metric fuck ton of evidence that was (and still is) available to the public.

The Republicans and Russians jerk each other off under the table from time to time, when it’s politically advantageous, but ultimately the U.S. is engaged in a long term plan to isolate, encapsulate, and neutralize any regime that is not in alignment with the western aristocracy for which they are the military enforcers.
