Guys quit laughing, that truck clearly picked up the diarrhea parasite. Iโ€™ve heard shitting out your intestines was a possibility.

Changing lanes is about the worst things you could do there lol. Now two lanes are blocked.

I suspect the driver didn't realize there's an issue all the way up to the end of the recording.

I have to imagine that was a pretty crazy sound.

Free aluminum for everyone!

That driver probably has like an hour left of his week... And then this shit happens

I wouldn't, but I won't stop you from trying

Cut it off from the roll, cut it to pieces, crumble it with a gripper and throw it into a dump truck.

The driver of the vehicle from which this was filmed could have prevented a bit of that...

I have tried, several times to warn other drivers about something off with their cars (i.e. guy gas tank leaking) and their automatic reaction is road rage. So now, fuck them, I just move out of the way.

[โ€“] chuckleslord@lemmy.world -2 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Yes, and that's why road rage is the dominant interaction that people have on the road. People who want to help get shouted down, so the only people willing to take the risk to interact are people already at the road rage level of emotion.

Unfortunately, the only way to reverse that is to have a whole bunch of people willing to help even if the response is road rage. And then they help every chance they get.

Or, ya know, reduce the amount of movement we have to do with cars. That'll help faster.

Why is it on the helpers to stick their necks out and change, but the ragers aren't expected to stop raging?

[โ€“] chuckleslord@lemmy.world 1 points 2 days ago

Anger is contagious. Yeah, it would be best for the people who are the most angry to calm the fuck down, but that's not likely to happen unless they interact with others who make their emotion dissonant. Thus why the onus is, unfortunately, on those who aren't angry to move the needle. That's kinda how we got to this position in the first place, since the lowest energy state of the system is everyone either keeping silent or exploding at each other. It takes effort from basically everyone to get to a higher energy, more stable state.

They're replying to someone who said they'd like to help but often don't... If there was someone in the thread going "nah I just road rage whenever someone tries to help me," yes, we'd say don't do that. Jfc.

a bit

Most of it probably, but such prevention does not even get you 5% of the views they got now. Remember, it's 2026 .... filming to go on the internet is much more important than helping/preventing /S
