Have you tried noise-cancelling headphones? They've been a game changer for me with road noise at work.
I feel this deeply.... I cant keep windows closed cause its so godawful hot out, and I just... Ugh it hurts my soul and makes me want to scream and cry. Stop overstimulating me. Also death to leafblowers like, seriously they just move things around. Just get a goddamn pushbroom, it'll be more effective.
I hate them with a passion. And like OP, I can hear one at my place every day.
Have you tried meditation? I’ve had some luck with it in the past. You basically learn to hear the sound without reacting.
My apartment manager lives in my building and they may be annoyed too. The apartment next door seems to have a live-in apt manager too. Maybe they will be willing to listen to a suggestion about scheduling their gardeners on the same day. Maybe even at the same time.
