Finally a user interface that fills your whole browser! As well as other bug fixes and federation fixes as well.
They also believe they might have fixed the "Hot" issues, where you randomly get super old posts in your feeds for no reason.

Yes, we were also down for ~10 minutes while I performed a backup and updated the servers as well.

Our new server has been setup and the database migration will look to happen during this week.

Cheers, Tiff

Can you guess when we did the update?

I did full cache wipe just now , but on Firefox for Android I get minor upvoting and posting issues after the upgrade - they both look like they're stuck loading, but show up correctly when I reload the page. Antone else?

Same, also when subscribing to other communities. I got an error saying the action wasn't performed (basically), when upvoting, commenting, or subscribing. But when I would re-load the feed, the actions did in fact go through. No big deal on my end, I'm used to seeing those types of small errors.

But they haven't been happening today, so maybe it's been resolved (-ish)... idk, looks resolved from my end

Edit for clarity: I'm using Liftoff on Android atm. Also saw issues on wefwef, but I'm waiting to see if the hack has been more secured before using a web-based app again. Mainly because I don't know enough about the technicalities, so I'm leaning toward a little caution for now

Probably related to this, jerboa and the UI were hiding it. I'm having a look at it now. It will probably be a corrupted entry in the activity table so it cannot perform a check.

Hmm, my response to your post used to be here, now it's not - the new version seems to have introduced some jank. Oh well, growing pains are painful by definition...

Yep, we are back and it has been solved! Somehow, the database created 2 activities (which are references to votes/comments/posts etc) with the same ID.

We were down for longer than I would have liked as I had to restore the database!

Awesome, thanks so much for always being on top of things and enabling our Lemmy addiction! :)
