Reminds me of the 'Blood of Russians' thing in Ukraine.
Palestine
A community for everything related to Palestine and the occupation currently underway by the occupying force known as Israel.
Anti-Zionism is not anti-Semitism. Existence is resistance for Palestinians.
Please refer to Israel as Occupied Palestine, or occupied territories. The IDF is a fascist and ethnonationalist occupying force. Israelis are settlers. We understand however that the imperial narrative (which tries to legitimise Israel) is internalised in the imperial core and slip-ups are naturally expected.
We always take the sides of Palestine and Palestinians and are unapologetic about it. Israel is an occupying power whose "defence force"'s (note the contradiction) sole purpose for existing is to push Palestinians out so they can resettle their rightful land. If you have anything positive to say about Israel we do not care.
They were trying to teach us [Fascist] songs. I vividly remember this song they were marching in the street with. The Hitler Youth, young boys actually of our age, were singing, “Das Judenblut vom Messer spritzt, geht's uns nochmal so gut” [The Jews' blood spurting from the knife makes us feel especially good]. They were also singing it in the school.

At this rate, such content can be used to make Memri Tv, but for Israeli gaffs...
Is there an actual independent translation anywhere, rather than one written by a freelance writer who relies on this website for his continued income?
I'm a native Hebrew speaker and the translation is accurate. Video got deleted after a flood of disgusted comments, I got to see it minutes after it was posted by chance. This is unusual because Kan at least tries to keep it "formal". I mean usually they just stick to wrongful propaganda.
So anyone who receives monetary compensation (including ad revenue) for journalism isn't independent?
'Freelance, but not independent' is a strange construction!
Corroborating/comparing translations of political speech seems like a good idea in general though.
