The app can obviously determine what we've seen already since it greys the titles of those posts. It would be great if there was a setting to hide those posts by default once they've been viewed.

Account settings, uncheck "show read posts".

Try Summit. With the new update, hide read function has arrived. I contacted the developer and put it on the fab button :). However, do not forget that it is still in beta, there are some missing parts.

Also I'm a contributor for Thunder. Play store release imminent.

Will eventually be adding "dismiss read" myself, unless someone else on the team gets to it first.
