On an extremely good day. Rest of the time I was just ignored

[-] Sylvartas@lemmy.world 7 points 10 months ago

Still not the worst outcome. On multiple occasions I've been ignored by everyone but one guy who repeated the joke verbatim and got everyone to laugh

[-] Sadrockman@sh.itjust.works 5 points 10 months ago

Had that happen to me once or twice. I just stopped talking to those people and tried again with other people. I've found a few people that way that made it in my circle of friends. And that's why my circle is so small, and that'd OK with me

You just ... continue your day.

Why do you need to do something in particular?

[-] KISSmyOS@lemmy.world 6 points 10 months ago

Depending on circumstances, browse lemmy on your phone, explore the surroundings, mix yourself a cocktail, or leave.

It's like Wi-Fi. If the attempted connection failed, try again. If it keeps failing, restart your router/life.

[-] WereCat@lemmy.world 1 points 10 months ago

Yaeh, it's time to realise you're in the air plane mode

[-] ininewcrow@lemmy.ca 14 points 10 months ago

I really don't care any more ... I just fire and forget ... if people don't get it, who cares ... if they laugh and want to talk, great

[-] Rentlar@lemmy.ca 7 points 10 months ago
[-] Ferris@infosec.pub 7 points 11 months ago

[-] HikingVet@lemmy.ca 5 points 10 months ago
