Yeah half a second would obviously be a problem. Annoying even on slow paced games.

Too slow audio? I can't imagine most of the playdate games I play it would really matter if it was a millisecond off.

Its a piece of steel.

Ive since transitioned to just clipping the light on the playdate case sideways. That seems to work well and no backplate required.

Now im on the constant hunt for the smallest booklight possible with a flat clip.

Working on this front light mod so that I can play in the dark.

It attaches with magnets just like the case.

When I used to install these we would put down a thick silicone or construction adhesive base then set the door on top of it.

What does the concrete slab look like? It's not running back towards the house is it?
