yea good point, shady shit like this is wholly within the realms of politics. It becomes especially easy when there is no accountability for such blatant skulduggery. Well lets hope people learn better from his actions then.

Having a working understanding of what an AI is what it can and can not do, how to identify etc will likely be critical going further. Just because AI hype is a balloon does not mean goverments, coorporations will stop using AI for surveillance, propaganda etc once it pops. So better get acquainted with it.
But if there is such a list of requirements they should also add critical thinking to it.
