It is crazy to me that I can just walk down the street to a store, buy some pot and wave at a cop on the way out. Even crazier is that my kids schools fundraising auction has weed gift baskets donated every year from the local dispensaries.

The Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett is the start of a great series about life in small town medieval England over a few generations. The Ill-Made Knight by Christian Cameron is a the first in a series following a fighting man during the Hundred Years War. Quite good, but quite brutal at times.

They met, they just didn’t interact. Kinda like me at a work party.

I wish they were offering it in the opposite order. I have most of the non-Lost Omens stuff already, sometimes multiple times over. OTOH, I can always use more maps so I guess I'll get it.

Buttermilk roasted chicken is delicious, so I assume it’s a similar lactose reaction. And you’d use goats milk because you have goats.

It’s not that hard, the 10% was applied, then the reciprocal ones were applied, then delayed except for the ones that weren’t. And then the separate ones on cars and parts, were applied, repealed, and applied again, except for the ones from Canada and Mexico, which are under a different treaty. Except that the ones on Canada are still on, sorta. And the ones on electronics have exceptions, but only from some countries and it covers devices, not parts. Except when it doesn’t. And then the ones on oil and energy are canceled, except some electricity from Canada. Oh, and Israel had theirs canceled. And, of course, this will all change in the next week. See? It’s not that hard. 😜

It was a Tandy 1000 in the 80s. Which was a weird computer to have, but worked well enough.

I was using a command line and modifying games I typed in out of a magazine in like, 4th grade. Also not normal.

I got four pairs: my brown boots, my grey boots, my motorcycle boots and my slippers. The inserts were buy one get one, so that was nice.

It's a cat and mouse game, at best. If you have a tool that can reliably detect AI slop, then that tool can be used as part of the training process to fool the detection tool.
