Trump has always rambled incoherently. That isn't new. His base loves him because he represents selfishness and racism. That is who they are. They don't seem to care that he is a coward and a nutjob. Rich people love him because he will do just about anything for anyone who will publicly shine his shoes.

He's a nitwit and he always has been.

Unfortunately, this knuckle-dragger is not capable of admitting, perhaps even understanding, that he brought all of this on himself. Everything bad that happens to him is someone else's fault. Everything good that happens was his idea.

These are used drives that have about 35K hours (4 years) of power on time.
Good quality drives to be sure, but maybe not as reliable now as they once were.

I'm starting to feel like violence is the answer to this kind of argument. I'm not there yet. But I get closer every time I see this shit.

Rogers primary campaign ad was weird. He said he's running for the US Senate but instead of talking about how he will work for Michigan, he complained about Joe Biden. So your intent is to obstruct rather than govern? How is that appealing to anyone?

It's because writing research grants, getting them approved, and publishing papers on that research has become more about getting the money and less about producing quality results.

I am of the opinion that closed-minded thinking is only part of the issue. The other part is there are well financed interst groups who work hard to create and encourage division in order to prevent regular folks from working together for a common cause.

The reason is simple: convince people to fight amongst themselves and they will be too busy to notice how much they are being ripped off by the tiny handful of rich people at the top.

I don't know what the current pay rate is for that job, but I am certain that if the pay was double of whatever it is now the worker shortage would suddenly vanish!

The bar in the picture is one kilogram or about $65,000 US dollars. Ten bars would buy a very nice house in my area.

Unfortunately, as we have already seen within the Republican party, threats work! If you are a secretary of state right now, you have two choices:

A) upholding Article 14 sec 3 because Trump engaged in an insurrection and is disqualified from ever holding elected office. But by doing so you, your coworkers, and your friends and family will be having to endure constant protests, verbal abuse, and death threats for the foreseeable future
or
B) Not doing that, hoping that he loses again (as he should), and the crazy people mostly leave you alone.

Which one would you pick? The real answer is probably not as easy as simply following the law.
I know which one I hope I would choose, but I can't say for sure I would do it.

edited: because I was not paying enough attention and wrote the wrong job title. (oops)

Best advice I can offer is to ask questions whenever you hear something objectionable.

Child: "You like science too much."

You: "Why do you think that?" or "Why do you say that?"

Asking them to explain what they are saying tells you more about what is really going on and can help them to consider why they think that way.

This guy is who I have in mind when talking about this subject. https://youtu.be/9gHmhObfbn4?si=xKaMUCh37q_UOxjo

Those holes are almost certainly made by a woodpecker. That probably isn't the real problem though. That wood is almost guaranteed to be infested with insects.
