What game is this?

[-] EmmaGoldman@hexbear.net 3 points 23 hours ago

If this isn't a modded New Vegas playthrough, I have no idea what game this could be.

The old Jewish conception of the afterlife is Sheol, a dark subterranean cave where we all go upon death. Gehinnom is also described as a place of spiritual purification where the wicked are punished and atone for their sins for no more than 12 months, and without punishment on the Sabbath. It's unclear whether this is a place within Sheol, a separate place, or a literal actual valley west of Jerusalem into which people were exiled to atone for their sins.

As a kid, my Rabbi described it as something akin to a re-education camp where the wicked and greedy are brought to justice and begun down the path of redemption by way of labour and education on how their actions harmed others. Once their sentence is up, they either live on in remorse among the rest of us in Sheol, or their soul is destroyed if they are not remorseful.

Chuds revel in being evil. Calling them villains or bad guys or saying they're a disgrace will have no effect. "Clever" whedonesque comebacks never work because they're dork shit. You just sound like an elementary school nerd in a crappy TV show trying to outsmart a bully. It never works, even in media.

Calling them creepy freaks works for the same reason it worked in elementary school. It others them and identifies their views as abnormal and fringe. A huge aspect of their ideology is the false belief that they and their beliefs are normal, that they are the bulwark of normalcy fighting against people who want to do strange and unnatural things. Slapping them with a straight-up dismissal of them and their views with a refusal to engage shuts them down entirely.

Here are some pics from the web.

This is the perfect vehicle, basically everything I want in a car. In a functional society I should be able to check one of these out in town and drive it wherever I need to go for free.

Put trans in bio, sexually explicit.

Post heterosexual porn gifs, wholesome content for the whole family.

Honestly, it seems like there are enough people having similar types of problems to the one you had (like trans people getting marked explicit for sfw, fully clothed selfies) that it's likely they've got an automated trans person detector that just arbitrarily sends people to horny federal prison for simply being queer.

Several years ago I was single and made a tinder account, but got banned after marking my sex as intersex. There was nothing inappropriate or inflammatory on my profile and it happened so fast that I doubt it was caused by report bombing. I got banned so hard I cannot create a new account on Tinder on any other dating site or app owned by Match Group. (Match.com, hinge, OkCupid, Plenty of Fish, etc.) I had absolutely no recourse, and couldn't even get a response from their support team.

Ultimately, this doesn't really affect me because I'm happily partnered now, but it's crazy the level of control that unaccountable corporations have and their ability to arbitrarily discriminate against queer people without reprisal.

It did its job well. By killing a small airplane owner, it has earned its place in Valhalla.

I think people get confused on that one because of "Israeli" couscous or ptitim, which is actually different food. It's a pasta product created by Nestle during the 1950s. Basically like acini di pepe but toasted.

It sucks ass and is basically a Great Depression food from the austerity era following WWII.

It seems like they're all really expensive, with most halfway decent ones being over $1000. It also seems like they're really finicky and hard to get working consistently.

Are there any 3d printers that are actually a refined product, something you can just get and start using? I don't want to spend most of my time fiddling with the settings and having to buy a ton of upgrades in the hopes of getting it to be a functional machine that can actually be used to print out parts.

If there are any out there that are basically self-maintaining or highly automated in terms of configuring themselves correctly, is it only the really expensive ones, or are there more affordable sort of "get and forget" printers that you can just set up and start using?

Consider the RSI-prone gamer. I would like to have healthy hands and wrists in older age and still use the computer.

Looking for a matching set (brand/aesthetic wise) of a mechanical keyboard and mouse for gaming that:

  • Isn't super tacky or coated in branding

  • Has a detachable usb c cable (sick of mini-usb and I will never be okay with a fixed cable on a keyboard)

  • Has build quality that's actually halfway decent

  • Isn't ludicrously expensive

  • Is compatible with something like Artemis RGB or Aurora RGB for aRGB game integration (my little crow brain likes when the blinky gamer lights change colors when I reload and stuff in games)

I don't know if I'm just bad at researching this sort of thing but it really seems like all the options out there only meet one or two of these requirements at best. Is this just the state of the market when it comes to these things? Do I need to build a custom keyboard?

They're not even doing refunds or recalls, they're just giving people 2 free months of the subscription and telling them to only charge the device and the hotswap add-on batteries with the home charger.

This piece of shit has a 4 hour standby time if you're not using the case to recharge the batteries. Literally unusable.

Seriously, I've spent like an hour searching and there appear to be absolutely no used cars in the US or Canada priced at or under $500. In fact, they're not even really close. I can only find a handful of cars under $1000, and they all seem to be parts cars that have major issues that are insurmountable for all but experienced mechanics who happen to have a spare engine laying around.

Am I just searching in the wrong places or what? Where have all the cheap-ass cars gone in this car-mandatory society?
