I giggled, I thought this was exaggerated satire. Fuck

Providing value to a community that I value. Either that or having enough money and time to be happy. That would really get me off.

Will Steam do for the gaming PC what porn did for the internet?

Time stops so you can walk there and appear as if you teleport.

Wish granted, but you have to up vote them anyway

[–] MojoMcJojo@lemmy.world 2 points 1 week ago

See that's the easy part, you can just keep em in separate communities, or segregate them, so no fuss.

Just so we're clear, this is sarcasm

You're right, people are selfish and dumb sometimes. What if that fire had spread to other houses that had paid! It's so frikin stupid and irresponsible. What if we made it so people had to pay the $75. Like we'll just take it right out of their paycheck. Of course we'll need someone to oversee the funds to make sure they get used for the right things. We could let the local communities pick someone. Like a system that steers the community effort back into that community. It would just make a better community and work around the idiots who won't pay and keep causing problems for the people who do! What should we call it... How about a tax that is governed by elected officials to benefit the community directly, despite the selfish idiots... Idiot.

-Operation Wolf Dad would watch me play. He would bring other people to come in and watch how good I was. -Mario Golf Dad would play with us, he even kept a spreadsheet, on grid paper, to track his stats. -Ultima 3 First game on a PC. Mom got it to play with me and my little sister after Dad died. She couldn't figure out how to get it to work. I ended up playing it alone years later, but only after learning enough MS-DOS to figure out how to even get it running. CD..

Hug your parents. Play with your kids.

The smart ones thought they were setting the table for themselves to take power. They left the castle gate open. We are being pillaged.

The team hopes that this might become a powerful tool that paves the way for new quantum communication protocols that use topology as an alphabet for quantum information processing across entanglement-based channels.

The findings reported in the article are crucial because researchers have grappled for decades with developing techniques to preserve entangled states. The fact that topology remains intact even as entanglement decays suggests a potentially new encoding mechanism that utilizes entanglement, even in scenarios with minimal entanglement where traditional encoding protocols would fail.

And here's is the published paper.
