I wonder if Russia knew their US plant would be so obvious that leaders would stop feeding the US intelligence.

[–] 14th_cylon@lemm.ee 100 points 1 week ago (1 children)

the true mind-fuck is that people in us intelligence community now have to think twice about what they can share up the chain of command.

[–] finitebanjo@lemmy.world 7 points 1 week ago (1 children)

TBH the CIA was always pretty strategic about the information they shared.

They knew the whole time that Iraq had no nukes, for example.

[–] Klear@lemmy.world 7 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago)

They also secretly funded modern artists for 20 years. One of the very few good things the agency's done.

[–] ThanksObama@sh.itjust.works 64 points 1 week ago (1 children)

They should start giving fake info.

[–] ShaggySnacks@lemmy.myserv.one 35 points 1 week ago (2 children)

Like Joe Biden being a robot?

[–] TheFogan@programming.dev 16 points 1 week ago (1 children)

lol hilarious, but I think the idea is strategic plans... especially ones that serve as useful tests to find out who the current administration is leaking information to. IE say give a spot very far from where the attack will be. But instead of an attack just release a small batch of surveilance to see if Russia launches any countermeasures.

Then at the time of attack hit hard and heavy very far away from the US co-ordinated attack.

Note the results, show Russia shoring up their defences against the fake attack and announce loudly that the US leaked the information to russia, either intentionally or by incompetence.

[–] NotJohnSmith@feddit.uk 3 points 1 week ago

I just wish they'd done that before this week's attack as the US may be on to that now.

To be honest, I'd be surprised if they haven't already done this testing in the past 6-7 months which is why no intelligence was provided to the US even hours out (which would be customary I believe)

Have YOU seen him pee? I just think if he wants to prove he’s not a robot, we need to see his piss.

[–] ExtantHuman@lemm.ee 5 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Excuse me, as we all learned in the 2007 Michael Bay documentary, robots can in fact pee, and may even choose to do so in a show of dominance.

[–] doug@lemmy.today 2 points 1 week ago

oh snap! you’re right! this is why I was on academic probation from film school! 😔

I guess we need to see him bone then?

[–] Lemminary@lemmy.world 2 points 1 week ago

No, but where can I?

The scenario highlights Trump's incapability of establishing a meaningful hierarchy of importance and understanding reality.

Ukraine blows up a bunch of russian bombers.

Trump shares conspiracy theory that Biden is a robot.

[–] tyler@programming.dev 15 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Did he do that after the bombings?

[–] SatansMaggotyCumFart@lemmy.world 57 points 1 week ago (3 children)

When you’re talking about the current president saying the former president was a robot clone does the fucking order of events really matter?

[–] tyler@programming.dev 14 points 1 week ago (1 children)

I mean… yeah? The meme has a timeline order to it, literally a conversation, so yeah? Why would I consider days old news in trying to figure out what insane thing trump said this time?

[–] tetris11@lemmy.ml 6 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago)

it'd be nice to get a consistent timestamped narrative from reputable media, I agree, but then I look at what they're dealing with and it must be madness for them too

[–] Trimatrix@lemmy.world 9 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Trying to be optimistic: Maybe if the drone attack was so fucking badass that it broke his mind and it latched onto something odd like a robot conspiracy?

You’d have to believe Trump had a functioning one to break.

[–] DogWater@lemmy.world 8 points 1 week ago (1 children)

No, not generally, but in the context of understanding this meme like the commenter is trying to do, yes

No but actually yes?

[–] Postmortal_Pop@lemmy.world 17 points 1 week ago

Folks, we have a serious problem. A national embarrassment. You’ve all seen it—Sleepy Joe Biden stumbling around, forgetting his own name, sniffing children who aren’t even there. You know why? Because he’s not real. That’s right—the Democrats cloned him. A cheap, defective knockoff, probably made in some basement lab by Hillary.
But here’s the good news: I’ve cracked the code. If they can clone a dementia-ridden puppet, then just imagine what we can do with my DNA. The strongest genes. The best brain. Tremendous bone structure. And that’s exactly what we’ve done.
That’s right. My army. The most loyal, most powerful fighting force in history. Thousands of me. Millions, maybe. And we’re sending them to Ukraine to end this war in one day.
Think about it. Zelensky sitting there, thinking he’s tough—wrong—when suddenly, thousands of Trumps drop from the sky in gold-plated helicopters. We land, we look around, and we say: "You’re FIRED." And just like that—war over.
Negotiations will be short! Damn right they will. Because when you’re dealing with one Trump, you’re dealing with the best. But when you’re dealing with a million Trumps? Game over.
Now, the fake news is gonna say, "Oh, Mr. Trump, cloning is unethical!" Really? Then explain Biden. Explain the deep state’s secret clone labs. I’m just doing it better.
And when my Trump Legion secures Ukraine—which, by the way, I’ve always said I could fix in 24 hours—we’re gonna rebuild it. Trump Tower Kyiv. Trump Resort Crimea. The best deals, the best hotels, tremendous room service.
So to the globalists, the RINOs, the haters—your time is up. The Trump Era is just beginning.
God bless America. God bless cloning. And God bless all the little Trumps.

I giggled, I thought this was exaggerated satire. Fuck

[–] belastend@slrpnk.net 12 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago) (3 children)

The number of strategic bombers getting droned rises every time the story is told xD

President Volodymyr Zelensky said 117 drones were used in the so-called "Spider's Web" operation by the SBU security service, striking "34% of [Russia's] strategic cruise missile carriers".

Source

Nevertheless, Trump should be 86'd

[–] isolatedscotch@discuss.tchncs.de 4 points 1 week ago (1 children)

117 are the ukranian drones, the planes taken down are 40

[–] witchybitchy@lemm.ee 3 points 1 week ago

pretty sure they're talking about the percentages. the meme OP says "half" ie 50%, the report from Zelensky says 34%.

[–] Witchfire@lemmy.world 1 points 1 week ago

I'm more a fan of the French format myself, 420647

[–] ExtantHuman@lemm.ee 0 points 1 week ago (2 children)

But did you hear that Ukraine destroyed 132% of Russia's strategic bombers?

[–] blockheadjt@sh.itjust.works 6 points 1 week ago

Why are people downvoting hilarious satire

[–] rbos@lemmy.ca 1 points 1 week ago (1 children)

I think you got that backwards. How many F16s has Russia shot down?

[–] ExtantHuman@lemm.ee 0 points 1 week ago (1 children)

I think your reading comprehension is lacking.

[–] rbos@lemmy.ca 1 points 1 week ago
[–] Makhno@lemmy.world 3 points 1 week ago (1 children)
[–] Klear@lemmy.world 17 points 1 week ago

That's easy to check. Just google "putin rule 34"
