Lol, yeah. It can be a little lacking for now, but knowing the fediverse, it won't be long until it also gets populated!

[-] MrCenny@lemmy.world 5 points 3 months ago

Lol yeah. Would be nice. But I'll bet ya we'll make an instance for it whenever it gets made :P

Oh sorry, didn't see that 😅

much in the same vein as lemmy-status.org

I was also thinking that an opt-in or something similar would be nice. As overloading small project raspberries with a large monitoring website wouldn't be that nice...

I see... Well you could make a suggestion or look for it on their gitub :) I'll link them here: "Lemmy BE" & "Lemmy UI" githubs.

So you mean like subscribing to the entire instance of lemmy.ml and only having lemmy.ml in your subscription list and not the induvidual communities? If so, no, you can't do that. But you can browse using the all button at the top of the page next to local to view all posts that is from federated instances :)

Seems like you had some problems with embedding your image. Try doing this: "![](url here)", that should embed the image for you :)

As @ConTheLibrarian@lemmy.world says, 0.18.x wil fix this issue, but it is not optimized enough for larger instances such as lemmy.world. You can also sort by the top of the day, week, month, year, and all posts.

Fedidb.org recommends people who view their statistics on their “Threadiverse” tracking page that people should not use graphs and numbers from the total users due to the surge of bot-accounts, and should instead use the monthly active users. This puts the “Threadiverse” at 87,089. Lemmy with 37,197 and Kbin at 44,136. Fedidb.org also shows that the number of accounts is now at 1,75 million, though most of these accounts are probably just bots.

I don't know if this is a feature or not, but if it is, it's not working for me. When opening a link that refers to a post or community it opens an in-buildt browser inside of the app, instead of ridercting me inside of the app itself. It's a real pain when openig lemmy links and having to switch to a browser every time.

If this isn't a feature, is it planned?

I only use reddit when looking at the current blackout and api situation. I am also sharing the word of lemmy and the fediverse to users who don't know what it is. But i no longer browse trough reddit, only on lemmy. Nore specificslly the jerboa app on Android.

Samsung galaxy S21. I really enjoy it and has worked perfectly. I like Samsung rendition of Android, I feel like it gives me a larger overview of settings and so forth. I've had an iphone 6 and Huawei Mate 20 lite. My problem with the iphone was that i didn't really understand it, and the app library was limited. The Huawei became slow fast, but that might just be because of it being the lite edition. In edition to the Samsung S21 i also own a Samsung galaxy watch 5 and a pair Samsung buds 2. Both these works great, and i really enjoy Samsungs health app wich is how the watch connects to the phone. The buds are even compatible with my windows computer :)
