My cat pretends he's starving to death. Every day. Even though I just fed you, Mojo

I'm registered to donate, they won't take them unless I get an expensive genetic test. My brother just passed away, and they wouldn't let him donate anything because we had an aunt a couple of generations ago who had Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (a prion disease that causes dementia)

I've tried digital books, but I've found that physical books work much better for my brain. I retain more information and can "get lost" in the story, whereas, for some inexplicable reason, digital books being read on a screen kind of "flatten" a story for me. It's almost like a 3d vs 2d experience for me.

All the time! Both when lying on my side and lying on my back. It's comfy

20+ years ago, when I was a freshman in high school, a Palestinian refugee joined our class. He mentioned off-handedly how quiet it was where we lived at night - he was used to hearing rockets/bombs all night while trying to sleep.

Then I started reading.

There hasn't been any single major event - just years upon years of proving that they were trustworthy.

I wanted to tell you what an incredibly apt statement that was, and to thank you for teaching me a new turn of phrase I plan on using excessively

What the actual fuck? He has a history of crashing his police cruiser - why the fuck isn't he on desk duty? I hope the family sues for wrongful death. I wish they could make him pay, rather than the taxpayers, but god forbid a cop should face the consequences of their actions.

Considering they're en route to the hospital now, welcoming my very first nephew to the world would be a pretty awesome highlight

A black cat sitting on the floor looks up expectantly at a woman's hand, which is holding a slice of pepperoni pizza with a bite taken out of it.

Inspired by Grimm's pizza post

"There's not enough blue to make a cat a pair of pants!"

From my southern grandmother, when she'd spot a break in the clouds on an overcast day
