Also, you can only get as hot as the photosphere due to the reversibility of light. We can get far hotter other ways, eg fusion plants.

I played it with some friends. There's an app you can get on your phone for character sheets and you don't even need that if you prefer pen and paper.

I got my updated drivers licence with my name and gender! Not a big thing I'm the grand scheme of things, but it matters a lot to me.

I play guitar, so the nails on my right hand are always longer than my left hand. It isn't really noticeable unless you are looking for it though. I am currently just trying to nail (he he) down the basics for single colour nails, but once I get the basics down, I would like to try more creative styles like in your photo.

Sure, the biggest implication is now we can look for symmetries in the universe and deduce a conservation law (with much difficulty by people way better at maths than me). This conservation law is not going to be broken by further refinements of our models, as it is inherent to the system. For example, you probably learnt about conservation of energy when learning Newtonian mechanics, but since this is a product of symmetry (in time iirc), then future refinements such as special or general relativity won't break conservation of energy. The only way it could is if the symmetry is not fully accurate, like in quantum, where fluctuations in energy are possible, but very minor (providing phenomena such as the Casimir effect).

Most of the details are beyond me, and the maths certainly is, so please don't take my interpretation of the literature as gospel!

Don't forget Noether! She discovered one of the most fundamental theorems of the universe: (paraphrasing) there is a 1:1 relationship between a conservation law (eg momentum) and symmetry (eg spacetime). This has shaped a lot of modern physics and helped explain otherwise unexplainable phenomena!

 

Not much to say, I just needed to shout out to the world. It feels great having finally acted on how I have felt for so long. I still got a long way to go, but I feel like this is a turning point and I am just so excited! To anyone who feels similarly but is apprehensive about injections, I have to say that the procedure was so simple and painless (I did IM) that even my shaky nerves couldn't make me mess it up!

 

I have been writing some music (mostly for classical guitar) and have been engraving it with lilypond (fantastic tool for free quality engraving). I want to put all of these compositions into a git repository and release them to the world under a permissive license. I would like to pick a copyleft license a la GPLv3, but cursory research has not turned up much.

My question is should I use a license for code, eg GPLv3, or for more creative works, eg Creative Commons? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Here is a platform that you can station above a planet and it will acquire orbital resources for you. I find this useful for getting calcite on other planets or a trickle of iron and copper for Gleba. I reckon the sulphur will be useful for Volcanus but I haven't scaled up there yet. It can be done with common parts and without circuits, but it would be about twice as big and I had so many quality resources lying around that I figured why not use them? This station can only be built after doing basic builds on Volcanus (for foundries) and Gleba (for advanced crushing). I would recommend also having done some stuff on Fulgora as it makes for a great quality hub, but it is not strictly required.

The answer is one dll that gets loaded that causes the game to crash on startup. Go to $WINEPREFIX/drive_c/GOG Games/Cyberpunk 2077/bin/x86/ and rename GameServicesGOG.dll to GameServicesGOG.dll.bak (or delete it if you like to live life on the wild side). Now enjoy playing the update!
