Oh yeah the Ghost of Kievyviv personally killed every Russian pilot ever

Ukraine has no air force left, it's been reduced to begging for cast-off early gen 4 fighters from around the world just to maintain some semblance of an air force. It was clear from the outset how crippled their airforce was: when Russia outran their supply lines and ended up stuck in some huge hundred mile long convoy, there were exactly zero air attacks on it, even though a pair of Su-25s would have fucking mulched that line

What are you even talking about

No no you see it's not homophobic, it's just that Trump and Putin and Elon and Xi and [insert hate target of the week] really don't like Gays so if we portray them as gay they'll be really mad!

I don't have anything to add except that the very first recommendation when I checked this without logging into YouTube was some blatant chud shit yea youtube is cooked

[–] TechnoUnionTypeBeat@hexbear.net 19 points 3 months ago

The point about Kim Jeong is how I feel about Uncle Roger. I like cooking content on YouTube, but every time there's any sort of Asian food involved someone references this minstrel show character as if some Malaysian stand-up comedian with a fake accent is the authority on all Asian cooking even if it's neither Chinese or Malaysian

So let's say that hypothetically, China actually was going for a mass data harvesting. There's of course no concrete proof of that, but let's, for argument's sake, say they are

Of the two options, what is the least harmful to an American:

  • giving their personal data to their own government, which has been revealed to have been spying on their citizens for literally decades, and has been known to use this data to target minority groups, in exchange for free software

Or

  • giving their personal data to a completely unrelated government that will not share it with the west and that most people will never ever interact with otherwise (barring a visit to China or the person is a member of the diaspora), making it impossible for this data to be used against them, in exchange for free software

This is actual Battletech canon

ComStar says pay your bills or else

This one is very niche but Hallie Rubenhold's Bad Women is about the 5 victims of Jack the Ripper, based on her book The Five. Unlike every other Jack the Ripper podcast/researcher, she went out of her way to research the five victims, who they were, and what put them where they were that night. She set out to push back on this narrative that all five were just prostitutes who "deserved it" somehow, that each of them were people with lives

She also talks about all the misogynistic hate she gets from the "Ripperologist" community about her work

chud-coded language

It stopped being coded a long time ago

He outright praised the chud convoy of trucks that terrorized Ottawa for two weeks. Man is unfortunately straight up a chud

It's not about actual annexation, it's Trump's "unique" deal making style

He's known for issuing outright absurd demands on people, then watching the reaction. When they dismiss it, he doubles down on the absurdity until they start to take it as a serious threat. Once the deadline approaches the other party will offer deep concessions that they otherwise never would have, allowing Trump a 2 part victory: he gets more than he wanted and gets to look strong while doing it

What's going to happen is that Denmark will give Trump everything he actually wants with Greenland (mineral rights and Danish subsidized US bases) without actually annexing it

This tactic fails miserably without leverage like having the largest army in the world, of course

3K is so fucking good and I cannot understand why they abandoned it and all the mechanics from it. The diplomacy system should be standard across all the games going forward but they just reverted it back after that game, it's wild

I'm an absolute sucker for tournament arcs so the entire Chuunin exam bit was fun as hell. You got to see all sorts of wacky side characters get time in the spotlight, got to see some well animated fights, some clever tricks

And then shit goes flying off the rails later on when it truly becomes the Naruto and Sasuke show

I believe he did with a limo crash somewhere in the US but other than that no, he fully freeloads off his cohosts
