I don't have synesthesia, but writing your own notes/summarizing the text helping to absorb the information is a valid learning technique.

The extra layer of complexity with perfecting color differently sounds super trippy though!

Didn't she actually say "In Somalia they execute criminals"? Feels like an important distinction.

 

The overall message here I think is: action is still necessary, but the reality is that we're too caught up in politics and economics and we missed our chance at mitigation. Now we need to look to how to cope with what's coming.

The optimistic note of the last sentence of the abstract doesn't really survive reading the article...
