I can't confirm for Steam, since I only have the game on EA app, but the game's wiki page on PCGW shows the same DRM-free info (with correct launch steps).

You're right, they do - this Steam DRM-free games list shows Jedi Fallen Order is the most recent DRM-free EA published game on Steam afaict.
Same goes for DRM-free games on the EA app.

Mostly went for Novice so far, but I also gave 1.5 a try - Stage 4 striked.

They also increased prices in Canada, by 7-15% afaict.
eg: MX Master 3S went up ~14%, $140 to $160.

Per their website:

As a non-profit that engages with a number of stakeholder groups across Canada’s internet, CIRA believes that transparency is essential to good governance.

They also detail their compensation and expenses further down that page.

I would probably recommend Bazzite as a gaming (and user-friendly, in many ways) OS alternative instead of Pop!_OS.
It is very simple to set up and use, and comes with multiple gaming-related tweaks by default.

I might have a very odd bug, but VLC only plays one song normally and then any song after that is complete silence. No updates or reinstalls could fix it.
YMMV perhaps?

For those in Western Canada, a lot of these products seem to be available at London Drugs - I've found X-Pur and Curaprox at least.

Sorry, I won't be able to help since I don't have Blue Dragon, but when you mention making changes to config files, is that in reference to info in this thread / google sheets?

As enjoyable as ever to read!
I think you might have missed the link to Nightdive Studios' future endeavours? Or Voyager is not showing it at least.

I almost didn't mention my game of the moment - I've been diving deep into Hollow Knight on the Deck, I just wish it supported HDR but otherwise it's an experience like no other.

That'll give a good reason to take the Pocket out of its case :)

I've been waiting for reviews to drop on the Pulse Elite and I'm glad to see it is as well received as I'd hoped!

I splurged on the Audeze Maxwell sometime last year and although the sound was stellar, the comfort was not, so I ultimately had to return them. This headset seems to be a great (much cheaper) alternative with better comfort, so I'm likely going to get it day one.

Anyone else interested in the Pulse Elite?

FF VII Rebirth - Improvements to Performance mode image quality coming Feb 21th

The extended "preorder" trailer we got yesterday managed to properly sell me on the game, at least gameplay-wise, and I'll probably get it day one (assuming it runs well at launch).
What about y'all?

The release date which leaked was confirmed - May 21st - $50 USD, digital only.

I'm not personally familiar with eXputer, but their last rumour (Forza Motorsport release date) apparently turned out to be correct, so fingers crossed - we'll see in a couple of days anyways.

I've decided to start tackling my PSVR2 backlog and I played a few hours of Moss yesterday.
While the game is fun and perfectly adequate to get my "VR legs" going, I've noticed that regardless of how I tweak the focal distance, height of the headset, the IPD or if I even tilt the headset slightly, it doesn't really help with removing the outer peripheral "blurriness" of the image, if that makes sense. The centre is pretty much clear, but anything on the outer edge isn't - fwiw, eye tracking is working without a hitch.

Is there some "secret adjustment" I'm just unaware of? I should mention I've got prescription lenses from Hons VR, but those are not too bulky and allow roughly the same adjustment than without (and are definitely easier to adjust with than with glasses).

Just got those in the mail and I wanted to share with the community!

I'm usually not one to splurge for collector's editions of games, let alone controllers, and I never bought any console covers, but I couldn't pass up on the FF XVI limited edition controller / covers (at a very close to MSRP price).
Needless to say I'm super happy with my purchases, haha :)

I really hope we'll see more limited edition console covers in the future (provided they don't all get scalped in a matter of minutes...).

Interesting review IMO, with colour accuracy comparison and benchmarks of DeckHD vs. original screen (and other "known good" screens).

I would be more tempted by an OLED screen upgrade, but colour accuracy looks pretty good tbh. Pricing is in line with an official (matte) screen replacement from ifixit - $99 USD.

EDIT: It is also on order at Coquitlam Public Library.

If you want to see everything else that's on order at VPL atm, here's the link (Atlas Fallen and The Endless Dungeon were just added as well iirc).

It looked like my post from my beehaw account didn't show up for my lemmy.ca account, I'm not sure why... Anyways, here's that post again!
