Fuck off, stop arguing in bad faith, it's patently clear to everyone in this thread you're arguing in bad faith.

Did you read anything I commented or are you going to strut around like a pigeon on a chessboard arguing a nonsequitur nobody was arguing and everyone already broadly agrees with?

Agreeing that parents should be prosecuted for improperly storing firearms around children, which sidenote a simple fucking google search shows that parents often are prosecuted for improperly storing firearms but they're not famous actor and producer Alec Baldwin, is not agreeing to the idea of not prosecute Alec Baldwin for directing his crew to cut corners in safety protocols.

Yes they should be, now leave the non sequitur discussion derailing nonsense at the door and stay on topic. Parents being irresponsible dumbasses has nothing to do with a film exec directing his crew to cut safety corners to save a quick buck.

So it's not exactly about the shooting itself but creating the negligent conditions that allowed it to happen. From what I understand, as a producer he had his crew cut as many safety corners as possible to reduce costs. His direction to cut corners led to oversights in safety, which led to the prop masters making safety mistakes and accidentslly loading a live round into a firearm designated as a prop, which led to a person dying because of an on set accident. If he didn't direct his crew to cut corners, the chances of somebody dying is dramatically reduced and makes this line of work incredibly safe despite the potentially dangerous implements used.

So the case is about "did the executive decisions Baldwin make to cut corners on safety contribute to the death of someone on set?"

You'll need to adjust the roll of the bones in edit mode. Ctrl+R let's you adjust the roll, and if you have a more complex rig based around parenting thd deform to more advanced control and mechansim bones like ones from the Humane Riggin course, youll want to adjust everything in the mechanism. You'll probably have to go back and forth a few times between edit and pose mode.

Also definitely check out Rigify, it's not some proprietary addon, it's Blender's own rig built into the software. It's really powerful but it's also kind of a lot all at once. There's a lot of resources and tutorials out there that go pretty deep into how rigify works and how all of the setup components can interact. If you van learn how to build out the metarig before generating the full controlled rig, you'll be able to rig damn near anything.

Unfortunately for Calvin, an eloquent and well thought out speech about the death of craftsmanship and ruthless mechanical efficiency wasn't on topic to the assignment about what you did over the summer (or whatever other assignment it is)

That's the way it is with every platform, you only have a comparatively small proportion of people who do a huge share of the posting.

Reddit has the advantage of being absolutely massive that the power posters is also still a huge number. I'd imagine even the biggest of entire Lemmy instances is smaller than some of the major subreddits, which personally I'm fine with. This emmy instance isn't some major corporation beholden to growing value for shareholders at all costs, but on the other end it still doesn't mean the admins can do everything without monetary or labor support from us.

While I'd prefer peaceful resolutions to our problems, I fully understand why left leaning groups are becoming more radicalized. There is little compromise with the theocrats who want to eliminate or subjugate various minority and underrepresented groups within our society, continually hand more and more power to corporations, wholeheartedly believe the end of days is coming once Israel fully takes control of the holy land, and will scream "Second Amendment" and "Crisis Actors" every time kids are killed in school shootings. They violently stormed the US Capitol many of whole had intent to kill Senators and Representatives.

There is no compromise or peaceful resolution with people who want to hurt you or worse because their pastor said you're a demonic sinner who must be cleansed from the earth.

Because the last guy spent so much time and effort pandering to the antivaxxer crowd and it resulted in the deaths of millions.
