What I consider her is a republican asset, to be clear. Which is why she works so closely with so many far right republicans, and is specifically trying to pull votes in battleground states to give Trump the win. Lets be honest here - even her own people say thats the goal.

And I don't think any state is really non-contested at this point. I will continue to support expanding social programs and shutting down the far right at every turn, and now that I know WFP is in my state enough, I'll be supporting them at every point I can.

I also won't turn a blind eye to someone intentionally trying to get the far right in power. Which is what Jill Stein and the Green Party are doing.

Thats wonderful!

I still want to make sure people know what Jill Stein is, and don't throw away their vote to her as the republicans she collaborates with want.

Your mind won't be changed, you're going to keep saying the same stuff, I get that.

I mention it for others who read this thread. Working Families Party is a great example of a third party that actually is working for change, and collaborates to stop the far right.

The Green Party, and Jill Stein, is actively working in a way to the advantage of the far right, as well as blatantly working directly with them. Which makes her... dun dun dun.... a spoiler candidate.

So yeah, I'll keep repeating it.

Next stage - "What else can the same ESP32 do?"

If they really wanted to do be effective, they’d best be working together where goals align.

This is what the WFP does. They have a number of members running as Democrats, or put their endorsement to democrats, where needed (or where they don't have ballot access and need to run as Democrat).

They don't belong in NateNate60's list.

Just wanted to mention (from another discussion on here) something I thought was relevant.

The Working Families Party is a social democracy and progressive party. What is key about them (and decidedly different than green) is that not only are they working towards better, they collaborate (and use electoral fusion where its an option) to side with Democrats to keep Republicans out, where by themselves they would lose.

There is actually a WFP member running under the Democrat ticket in my area, who already had my vote, and I didn't even notice was a member of the WFP. These are the sort of 3rd parties who are actively working to make things better, and ensuring the far right doesn't make gains. These are the sort of 3rd parties that are, imo, worth being members of.

You can check them out here: https://workingfamilies.org/

Their candidates, and the limited number they've endorsed that are Democrats (like Harris), are here: https://workingfamilies.org/candidates/ - you'll see at the top of each state if they have an org in place, which they do for CA, CO, CT, DE, GA, NJ, NM, NY, OH, OR, PA, RI, TX, and WI.

You'll see a big difference with them, notably the number of them who are running in local and state elections. Where they don't have ballot access, they work with the Democratic ticket. Where they do, and where a far right win is not going to happen, they run as WFP. Philadelphia has a few members on their council.

Hope you take a look!

Again, you can keep lying to yourself and others, but I won't.

They are ignored because they are spoiler candidates. Because they do nothing when its not Presidential election time.

Because Jill Stein is a spoiler candidate.

You can keep trying to selectively ignore parts of this, but it doesnt change anything. I'll say again - if they wanted to effect real change, they would be going for local, state, and then federal seats in all elections.

But they aren't. Because Jill Stein is a spoiler candidate and nothing more.

Edit: And they definitely wouldn't want a threat to democracy to get into office. That right there should be your bit where you realize what she is.

Soooo much nicer.

Working on tweaking a new launcher for my "Kids Version" htpc, with gcompris, a few shortcuts to some really great non-profits with education games, and of course JF. 4th gen Intel dell micro, runs like a dream...

That is one of the most disgusting things I've heard today.

And I can't say I'm surprised, which makes it even worse.

Considering the antisemitic comment, the blaming of antifa for actions where right wing instigators were found, the promotion of spoiler candidates....

I'm going to have to strongly disagree with your perspective. If they felt strongly about it, they'd know more about the third parties they reference.

But they dont. You can give them that leeway of course, but I'm not going to.

Edit: Other folks browsing, don't down vote Maeve because they want to see the better of people. That's generally a good thing.

The original idea of a meme came from Dawkins in the 70's, and "Internet Meme" from Godwin in the early 90's, talking about message boards, usenet, listservs, etc.

4chan did not start the concept, no. Lolcats came from 4chan, iirc. But internet memes predate the existence of 4chan.
