Yep, reading facts gets in the way of good old fashioned jingoism!
I first saw these advertised when I was at primary school in the late 80s early 90s I think- the branded ones were called “Scatch” i believe.
I’m loving it too- I miss a lot of subreddits and the sheer volume of content from the other site, but it feels quite special here at the moment. Also I am loving how quickly Lemmy and all of the supporting apps are developing! I am using Mlem and am very impressed. I want to like wefwef and agree that it is very similar to Apollo, but I just can’t cope with web apps.
This is deeply troubling.
Nobody’s gay for Moleman :(
At this stage, most people would trust that lettuce that outlived Truss more than they would trust the UK government!
Anyone still happy with the Tories currently probably falls into one of three categories from what I have seen:
- rich enough to not be affected by the crazy cost of living
- somebody who sees a politician or political party like their favourite football team and will blindly support them no matter what.
- people living on a different planet
Simpsons hit and run please!
Really happy I picked Feddit.uk :)
Today has been quite a day for comeuppance- first Trump, then Nadine Dorries and now Bozo himself. Now for Rees-Mogg to stub his toe and balance will have been restored to the universe.
The only reason I stuck with Reddit was because of Apollo. I’ve just requested my data, hopefully I can get to grips with Lemmy!
Awesome- very jealous!
