Lustigerweise gibt es ja sogar eine wörtliche Übersetzung die sich in nur einem Buchstaben unterscheidet. Benutzt nur keiner.

Mal so aus Neugier: Ab welchem Punkt muss man denn ein Gewerbe anmelden? Kann man nicht auch als Privatperson Dienstleistungen anbieten oder Produkte verkaufen und diese in der persönlichen Steuererklärung angeben? Das würde zumindest den Punkt mit "bevor der erste Cent verdient wurde" lösen.

I'm totally in favor of a fully distributed solution! But you don't need a ledger for it, neither centralized nor distributed. A simple pub-sub + DHT, torrent style, should be enough.
Blockchain is the wrong solution for that problem.

In Germany we have a strong social welfare program open for everyone and yet there are still people living on the streets. We have state-sponsored street workers going around and trying to help. There is only so much you can do. Some people will refuse any help offered to them.
The only way to get them off the streets is to put them in jail, which wouldn't be OK either.
I love GOS but nothing is impossible to "crack", whatever cracking means here. They do their best to make it as difficult as possible without sacrificing usability.
