Massie forgot to mention that he never stands close to windows in tall buildings.

Lies under oath. Again.

Why even put them under oath if you aren't going to jail them for contempt?

Why is it unfair that it's happening to you and not unfair when it's happening to thousands of innocent immigrants?

Nah, since the 80s at the earliest. The wealthiest were taxed up to 90% and corporations didn't get the tax loopholes they have now until Reagan took office.

This meme made me wonder if smoked coffee exists. If it does, I wonder what that would taste like.

Good example, especially given that it looks like a Russian oligarchy is where we've been headed since 2016

I'm not an economist, so here's my ass talking, but I don't think your example scales out. I think you're making the mistake of equating the stock market to the economy. It isn't.

Not everyone wins in a failing economy. If one billionaire makes out, three more lose money.

Do people regularly get emails long enough to justify a summary button? I think I've seen those maybe once out every thousand emails I get.

Or is it summarizing the whole thread?

The hard part about the erosion of anti-trust laws over the last two decades is it's really hard to do anything without supporting Amazon due to the sheer amount of things they own.
And even if you made the effort to avoid everything here first-hand, supporting a company whose backbone runs off of AWS ends up supporting Amazon second-hand.

Hey all, I started my self-hosting by using the script here and modifying it to suit my needs:

https://github.com/geekau/mediastack

My only question is how I get the authentik/headscale/tailscale/cloudflare pieces working as a reverse proxy.

I think I've configured cloudflare correctly since I can hit my external url and it will try to redirect to authentik, but that's really where I'm stuck.

Has anyone else used a similar stack and got it to work? Is there a guide (other than the ones used for this exact stack because they aren't good) I can use somewhere?

Edit: to be clear, I'd like to be able to access my jellyseerr and jellyfin instances from an external url at minimum, but the more I can access, the better. I have cloudflare DNS entries for the whole stack, pretty much

I have a pretty standard *arr stack going, but my media repo is stored on a single (albeit large) drive.

In the future, if I want to add storage, how would I configure the apps to look in multiple places to build their libraries? Is there some documentation someone can point me to?

Who wants to tell him that we get that right whether he supports it or not?

Is there some secret giftcard doubling jutsu in not aware of?

Tesla dealerships are getting protested and, in some cases, vandalized. Sales are down on 9 of the top 10 countries Tesla sells in. Yet Tesla stock is up. Twitter is a cesspool of nazi-themed bots, and somehow just pulled in $1bn and raised its valuation back up to $44bn.

How is any of this possible? It seems really artificial to me, but I don't really understand business.

Typical market manipulation move. He'll probably announce something regarding bitcoin and the federal reserve today to artificially bump that up too.

See title. I'd like to have a vanilla install separate from my modded one.

It looks like each instance wants an instance-specific login, but my federated account is searchable, so I should be able to link it. Problem is, I can't figure out how.

Help me, programming.dev

Hey all, I made a Firefox extension (signed by Mozilla) specifically to add Show/Hide Child Comments functionality similar to how RES had it (where the parent comment is still visible).

It's not very useful, but I could use some feedback on tightening up the Javascript. I'm not a JS beginner, but I know I can do better, so any tips are welcome!

EDIT: Also, if anyone has any suggestions for the extension, I'm open to those as well.
