It’s the punchline from a commercial for Tootsie Pops that first aired in 1969, though still airs decades later in shorter versions. No idea if it got used outside of the US.

The all threes image comes from near the end of the TNG episode “Cause and Effect”, a favorite of this community.

I’m assuming you already tried to get the work application to run on Linux via Wine or Proton? I know Valve has been putting a lot of R&D effort into Proton for their Steam Deck, trying to improve compatibility.

Most significant digits first. You write the thousands place before the hundreds, you write the month before the day. Of course, the whole argument is blow away when you write the year at the end instead of the beginning. (ISO YYYY-MM-DD dates for the win.)

It’s only in the last 150 years that information could travel any faster than a currier ship or rider. Before the telegraph and the radio, information traveled at roughly the same speed as goods or soldiers.

SG-1 was on Showtime from 1997-2002. I feel like it got a broader audience when it moved to SciFi (basic cable) starting in June 2002.
