I remember reading that city taxes should change from being based on the value of the building to only be based on the value of the land. This way it discourages only single-family homes.
Tramways and Light Rails are much more silent and comfortable. Rails are smooth, no pothole etc. They are also much much more durable than asphalt.
Rails take less space and can be covered with grass/greeneries. Looks prettier and absorb heat.
How does this compare to Yunohost?
Are they even respecting those files?

Im really sorry to read that. It sounds like a giant mess that is affecting everyone. It must feel bad to do all those efforts and still feel like it's pointless.
Have you considered getting therapy for yourself? I think it's would be the best thing to do in your situation.

C'est en partie les gens qui possèdent plusieurs logements. Les AirBnB. Les spéculateurs qui achètent juste pour revendre et qui laissent ça vide en attendant.
L'immigration fait aussi partie du problème mais n'est pas la cause principale.
Dans les années 90, le gouvernement fédéral a arrêté tous les programmes de logements sociaux. Le gouvernement de la CAQ viennent de faire pareil. Moins de logements sociaux/abordable = augmentation des loyers.
What need to change? Real steps toward reducing greenhouse gas. Stop subsidizing cars (even electric ones!) and invest all that money into public transport. That would be a good first step. Then maybe I'll be proud to be Canadian.
