Interesting... I'm very happy with the instance I'm on and with Lemmy but if I decide to self host I might set up piefed instead.

Honestly I've found most distros pretty solid. It's just the software that can be buggy. Gnome for me crashes on gpu's with 4gb of vram, like the rx 5500 and 1650. Steam is better now but I remember the interface being very jank. Left clicking something just made the drop down menu disappear and not actually select it. A lot of programs still not scaling right on Wayland even tho xorg has been dead for years on years. Ect...

But even with all these issues I've had recently and not so recently... Still so much better than windows

Where? Where at tho? I've been using steam and playing valve games for like 16 years or something like that and I don't see it anywhere. Maybe the one troll in user made guides but that usually goes away just like any other platform

Just as the title says. Any game I play except minecraft will eventually make gnome crash and send me back to the login manager. This happened on with my 1650 and on my RX 5500. I thought maybe something was wrong with my install so I reinstalled fedora on a new ssd and it's still happening. I'm not sure what to do but if someone is willing to guide me I'd like to make an actual bug report.

The show itself has some sad moments but I just mean what happened with production and season 2. I still haven't finished season 2 yet but it really is... Disappointing so far. I just went on a binge watching the old pilot and season 1 as well as some behind the scenes that was on cartoon hangover's channel and God the nostalgia and the memories makes season 2 hurt so much.

I can't even count how many times I've seen perfectly good phones just become e-waste because of carrier locks. There's been a few times I wanted to buy a used phone I saw on offer up because they were cheap but I didn't because it's locked to T-Mobile or Verizon. Phones are built to just become e-waste and it's such a fuckin waste of resources. I didn't even get into the fact the bootloader is almost always locked too. It's so fuckin dumb
