I never said that I said the game doesn't feel complete without it

Since there's already a bunch of people explaining it I'll explain why it's so loved by the users and the hype around it.

Linux has a copy left license meaning no one person or entity owns Linux. It's open-source which allows any company to modify how it works or just a random person can change the code or fix it. The only restriction on this license is that anyone that makes changes have to share those changes if asked, this why everyone benefits. Anyone can submit those changes willingly to be approved and help contribute. This means that Linux is built and maintained by thousands of companies and 10s of thousands of people all across the world, not for a profit or bottom line (well for the companies like Google it's probably for profit). But to make something that works the best they can make it out of their passion.

I personally love Linux because I'm sick and tired of fighting my computer and phone to do what I want when all it does is force ads and pop ups down my throat and track my every move. Linux doesn't have any of that because the people that make it use it and don't want that, no one does. Since there's no profit motive we don't have shit like that.

I like them too but are there more somewhere? I only see a few and I bought them all

Firefox but it's so slow on Android. I've just accepted there is no good browser. Just least annoying. And somehow that's Firefox even with all the useless crap and pop ups they keep adding

Remember when it was worth getting up?

I thought deluxe just included the DLC

[–] secret300 33 points 2 days ago (5 children)

How the hell can they even afford that?! There are so many Gmail users and so many emails a second and Gemini will summarize them all? That sounds so expensive and like a waste of resources

Required games and games studios to build the game to be played offline or have the ability to self host the server.

Anyone that has ever played a game on a phone knew that would never happen.

Ohhhh shit! I hope I get a summer bonus like I did last year cause that's all going to that

I've been trying for so long to replace my T530 but there's always and issue with these new thinkpads. The 480 I bought had a cracked mother board because the chassis is so flimsy and cheap on that generation. The T15 is better in that regard but oh my lord the touchpad is unusable. The tap to click requires me to slam the thing multiple times for it to maybe click on something. Two finger scroll will zoom constantly. 3 finger gestures just won't work half the time. Thinkpads have regressed so much it's embarrassing.

It makes me happy when I still see articles about this game

I kinda have the money. Not really. Well... I'd survive til next pay. But if I wait and it goes up in price then it's gonna be harder to get one.

I'm excited for more money but can't help be a little nervous. I don't wanna burn myself out but I need the cash.

The new job is landscaping and when I was fresh out of highschool that's what I did and I loved it. But going to do that after a 16 hour shift from my current job sounds rough... I prolly just need to tough it out

I left my computer at my friend's house and my laptop at my cousin's. Haven't touched that shit in days and life is good again

I for one can't wait to be running a RISC-V system

My main use currently is a modded Minecraft server. But I want a VPS over one of those Minecraft host specifically because I plan on messing around with docker containers later and hosting my own Lemmy instance. Currently I have an openVZ server from TNA hosting because it was like $50 a year. But it's not powerful enough for the Minecraft modpack.

So what VPS provider would you lot recommend?

There's no removed comments. I looked through my profile cause like sometimes I just be saying shit so I was okay maybe. But I can't find any comments on that community. Just the old 196.

Idk if this is where to post this but I just wanted to rant. It's my first time ever being banned so it felt ouch.
