[-] zaphod@sopuli.xyz 26 points 3 months ago

There are profile pics on Lemmy? Why would anyone want that?

I don't think it's supported yet. but you could sign in to the website for others using different frontends to see.

I've been using them a lot and I will say that it makes Identifying people way easier. I notice "regulars" now way more than before because of their unique pp. Whether that's a good thing or not I've no idea.

I don’t mind identifying people based on their unique pp but I find that quite NSFW

[-] idunnololz@lemmy.world 10 points 3 months ago

I knew someone would make that joke when I posted that comment.

Sigh...unzips

[-] WereCat@lemmy.world 7 points 3 months ago

To be fair your comment begged for that joke and I absolutely had to take that freebie ;)

[-] systemglitch@lemmy.world 2 points 3 months ago

I find over half the people that do it are unhinged, so it's a great way to weed out undesirables as I browse. I love the block function.

Thank you to all the blocked people who expressed their mental illness or skewed views of reality so thoroughly.

(Ps: they can still read my comments, but I can't see theirs, except as a reply that never shows up... it fills me with warmth)
