Whenever I have to use the Android Play Store and I search for the exact thing that I want and the first result is an ad for that thing, I click on the ad instead of the same item in the natural results just to cost them money.
Huh, I used to do the opposite on Google search results, to avoid Google being rewarded. But I also like your thinking, depending on whose advertising, I might choose to hit their pocket instead lol

I don't download games, I mostly have to install stuff from work.
Ah, I assumed it was something you were downloading out of a want rather than a need.
Yeah, I should have specified. I really only use the Play Store for work or fast food if I'm on the road. Otherwise I stick to F-Droid.
