Even Lemmy is bending over backwards about it, so nobody think that the Fediverse is non-compliant.

[-] ramble81@lemm.ee 34 points 4 days ago

[citation needed]

Been on Lemm.ee and have only seen posts in support of him and how fucked up healthcare is.

[-] arin@lemmy.world 17 points 4 days ago

It's the admins and mods for Lemmy.world

[-] UltraGiGaGigantic@lemmy.ml 3 points 2 days ago

Good thing lemmy.world isn't the entire fediverse then

[-] SwingingTheLamp@midwest.social 3 points 2 days ago

There are certain instances on which it's the instance admin who's posting the pro-shooter memes.

[-] gofsckyourself@lemmy.world 8 points 4 days ago

I've seen tons of posts in support of Luigi. The ones I see taken down are ones are threats of violence, including vague and 'joke' threats.

I think that's pretty reasonable considering they are following the law of the countries that host it.

[-] TexasDrunk@lemmy.world 6 points 4 days ago

Same. The admins even said they'd allow his manifesto to be posted as long as it was in the appropriate community.

I landed first in world. Now I only use it when Aussie.zone is offline.

I should make lemm.ee my backup

[-] Gerudo@lemm.ee 9 points 4 days ago

I'm glad more and more I landed on this instance.

[-] TheWolfOfSouthEnd@lemmygrad.ml 6 points 4 days ago

I think that they’re referring to Lemmy Worlds announcement.

[-] JoMiran@lemmy.ml 9 points 4 days ago* (last edited 4 days ago)

World moderation seemed too "all up in my business", so I ditched it fairly quickly. I get that ML users have a reputation for being obnoxious about their politics, but the moderation has been very "hands off"...as far as I can tell.

[-] Gerudo@lemm.ee -2 points 4 days ago

They just moderate in other ways to protect their own views. Mention anything counter to .ml and out you go, also you can't swear which is an odd rule.

[-] UltraGiGaGigantic@lemmy.ml 2 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago)

We can all view your moderation history. (The 3 vertical dots next to the star)

None of your comments and posts have been removed by a .ml moderator.

[-] Gerudo@lemm.ee 0 points 2 days ago

I never said mine were. I've seen it happen to plenty of users and I've seen downvotes as well.

[-] JoMiran@lemmy.ml 8 points 4 days ago

My comment history and the fact that I have not been banned disagree with your assessment.

[-] Gerudo@lemm.ee 0 points 4 days ago

You're lucky, many people have been.

[-] ramble81@lemm.ee 8 points 4 days ago

I was just curious since the fediverse is a hell of a lot more than just LW. Didn’t even think about them since I only see posts that make it over and must have missed that announcement

[-] rumba@lemmy.zip 9 points 4 days ago

Lemmy instances or run by individuals in a crap ton of different jurisdictions. None of these individuals want to go to court for our free speech. If an instance or an admin or running out of a location where they are reachable by legal measures, who are we to say they need to protect us?
