Is there anyone who samples so good as doom did? Some of the chord hits remind my of my favorite citypop tracks. I mean, it's prolly some of the same jazz sources. But the comic incorporation over time is really unreplicated. I recognize that I'm stuck in the old-school hiphop ouevre, but I just really love it. There was something really special going on in that period.
