uhm what the fuck? Just going to pause here, because you all seem to be affixed to redditor reactions, and not the fact that a massive subreddit is rightfully banning anti-China speech for being anti-socialist…
What the fuck is going on?
Could be the mods have continued moving left? Consider that Hexbear now is a drastically different place from /r/cth 6 years ago. That or a takeover by the evil tankie mod cabal.
Possibly "moved left" solely because the tidal waves of anti-china posts on Reddit become obviously racist when you see it long enough.
Pretty sure the mods have changed several times over the last few years, LSC was definitely lib as hell right after CTH was banned.
LSC has been this way literally forever
I used to browse LSC all the time and I quit specifically because of a socdem mod coup (this term sounds so dramatic but I'm not sure what else you could call it to express that it's a petty thing and not like, equivalent to a state being overthrown).
This was way back when, like, pre-Biden presidency. A quick search on Reddit shows a thread on r socialism with people complaining about it. IIRC you'd get banned for openly supporting China around that time.
‘What are you talking about? r/politics has always been Marxist Leninist’
Remembering the description of Lenin where he would steadfastly argue for his position until something changed his mind, at which point he would act as if that had always been the correct position. He’s just like me fr
It literally hasn’t, i bet I can pull out comments from Hexbear decrying its lib apologia
You got banned for this this week?
that’s not me, that link is from your link in your OP
