If we're talking fairness, .world is mentally a Reddit fork more than it is a Lemmy instance. Fairness dictates they ~~be purified by fire~~ not show up in instance recommendations.

Unironically, I believe you could make the argument that their size is incompatible with a healthy federation network and they really shouldn't show up in recommendations.

Considering who made lemmy and absolute shitton of liberalism and chuddery in the rest of internet, it would be fair.
