So just repeat the strategy that got us Biden, brilliant.

The dems have ran three different uninspiring neoliberals with identical policies in a row.

One barely managed to squeak out a win because the sitting president seemingly intentionally mismanaged a pandemic and killed an extra 1.5 million people, and the drms still barely won that one.

Obviously the lesson to this is we need to find another uninspiring neoliberal with identical policies and the more important lesson is that Americans won't vote for anybody else so definitely don't try.

The last time the dems ran on an actually progressive platform they had to invent term limits after getting elected 4 times in a row.

I think dems really have accepted the GOP’s narrative that “real” Americans are rural/suburban white guys in hard hats who love their bosses, used car salesmen who love their bosses…and the bosses themselves!

White men make up just 30% of the population, and millionaires and higher make up like 1%. I think a coherent message of “we will get you out of your parents basement and get the pigs off your back” will resonate with the 70% marginalized by society and enough of that 30% white men to form a coalition. If that means alienating white men who aren’t even voting for dems anyways, so be it.

Sure, I’ve grown disillusioned with bourgeoisie electoralism, but the least they can do is make an attempt to prove me wrong.

That's the frustrating part I'm a straight white guy from one of the most rural places east of the Mississippi but dems keep telling me what I really want is a neoliberal who will cut benefits from my neighbors.

Hard being a redneck lefty, definitely learned to not like people who weren't like us growing up but I always thought that meant rich people.

Yeah, redneck lefty as well. Seeing Kamala parade around with the Cheneys felt like a personal attack to people like us

“Here’s a Cheney, you dumb poors in dying rust belt towns like the Cheneys right? Vote for us because we found some republicans that endorsed us! See, we’re not so scary!”

It's especially frustrating being from rural new york because I know everybody around me correctly thought Trump was a dumbass city con artist who didnt pay contractors. Until he got really explicit with the racism and they suddenly all started supporting him.
