Why do Minor League teams go so much harder than the Majors when it comes to their team names and mascots?
Major League teams have the big markets, the nationally broadcasted games, the star players. They don’t need to go hard. Minors, they’ve got 20 year olds who will likely never reach the majors and washed up journeymen. They deliver a banger like the Rocket City Trash Pandas, that’ll sell t-shirts to people who haven’t even stepped foot in the state.
This will go perfectly with my Springfield Ice-O-Topes hat
The Albuquerque Isotopes are a real team named after that Simpsons episode where the team is gonna move lol
Think they have a statue of Homer in front of the stadium too
